VVPS IMPLEMENTS EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

At VVPS, we believe that learning is not just about memorizing facts and figures, but about engaging with real-world problems and finding creative solutions. That's why we have adopted an experiential learning approach in our school, where students learn by doing and reflecting on their experiences.

Experiential learning is a four-step process that involves experiencing, reflecting, thinking, and acting. Students are exposed to challenging and meaningful situations that require them to apply their existing knowledge and skills, as well as acquire new ones. They then reflect on what they did and what they learned, and use their insights to improve their performance in the next situation. This way, they develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter, as well as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and self-management skills.

To ensure that our teachers are well-equipped to facilitate experiential learning in their classrooms, we have made it mandatory for them to undergo a comprehensive training program. The training program covers the theoretical foundations of experiential learning, the design and implementation of experiential learning activities, the assessment and evaluation of experiential learning outcomes, and the reflection and feedback techniques for experiential learning. The training program also provides opportunities for teachers to practice experiential learning themselves, and to share their best practices and challenges with their peers.

We are confident that experiential learning will transform our school into a vibrant and dynamic learning community, where students are motivated, engaged, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
